Court Ledgers
This is an interesting collection of records, notes, etc from the Bond Co Courthouse. Here, in part, is what Marilyn said about what they are, and where they came from. ~ Ted CashI got this from the dungeon in the Courthouse basement! It was not necessarily my intention to donate it. It was not in good condition and may not survive much longer. If I get a chance, I will return there and try to get more info. They told me most of their info has been filmed by the LDS Centers but there was a fire and not everything survived and many things were recopied and recopied. I copied as much as I could and when I got home, I saw pages were missing so am not sure why until I can return. They do not go down there through that stuff themselves if I understand it correctly. (...) I honestly did not know this stuff existed until my last visit and I have been going there for over fifteen years!! When I found I might have time to transcribe some things to donate, I thought of this first, because I am not sure it was ever filmed and not sure it will survive.
